Video about a brave U.S. Army soldier and a special Christmas card to his mother

Ed has written a song a completed a video called "Letter to the Editor" inspired by the true story of Army Sgt. Michael C.Taylor and his mother Stephanie Tompkins. You might remember the story of this family from the national news broadcasts and newspaper articles the story received.

Sgt. Michael C. Taylor sent a Christmas card to his mother while serving in Iraq. Stephanie received the card in the mail just hours before Army officials came to tell the family that the 23-year-old soldier had died when an improvised bomb exploded in Iraq.

Ed's video "My Name Is Julie" written by him and inspired by a true story helps inspire him to try to get a bill passed through congress

"Imagine losing your child to an illness and you and your family also lose the home that you raised your child in because of the enormous medical bills. I have met too many people in this situation. It is so hard on the mom, dad and siblings already, but not being able to come home makes it that much worse", Ed states.
